Student Conduct

Students should be familiar with the Scriptural Objectives of ACS and should have discussed them with their parents before entering school. These objectives outline standards of conduct and correct attitudes for students attending ACS and its activities.

Loving discipline is essential for a child's character development and for maintaining order in school. Therefore, our staff will administer discipline as deemed necessary and appropriate and will strive to maintain good communication with the parents. If corporal punishment is considered necessary in a given situation, the teacher or administrator will request the parents to handle the problem. The staff reserves the right to suspend or expel students who consistently fail to properly respond to the school's disciplinary measures. See Hebrews 12:6; Titus 3:1-2.

Appleton Christian School has adopted a set of Principles of Conduct as a standard of behavior for its students. Students who are unable to maintain these standards will be disciplined through the following means:

  • Parent involvement
  • At-home suspensions
  • Detentions
  • Disciplinary probation
  • In-school suspensions
  • Expulsion
